Suntree Country Club

Suntree is a private club with 2 unique 18-hole courses, for a total of 36 holes of championship golf on picturesque greens. The country club is home to tennis courts as well—just in case anyone in your family would rather spend the day on the courts as opposed to the greens.

The Classic Course was one of the first official stops for the PGA Tour Champions players back in the eighties and nineties. Today, it still maintains its charm thanks to its timeless design by Ed Rider and Richard LaConte. Arnold Palmer designed the Challenge Course. A number of former and current PGA Tour players belong to this course, including Nick Lindheim, Steve Lamontagne and Marco Dawson.

Spessard Holland at Melbourne Beach

This course offers many unique features and challenges for golfers of varying skills. The famous course was designed by Arnold Palmer Enterprises and sits tucked between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon. What this smaller course lacks in size it makes up for with its unique challenges. Not to mention, there’s a lovely year-round breeze and breathtaking views of the Indian River Lagoon to help keep your golf game strong. 


The Savannah’s Merit Island

This southern-style golf course is considered one of the more difficult courses on the space coast. As its name suggests, it’s located in a natural Florida savannah. This course has been listed in Golf Digest as one of the best Places to Play. There are regular tournaments held here in association with schools, universities, churches, charities and so forth.


Duran Golf Club

The Duran Golf Club was voted Florida’s best public golf course in the area. It was also voted amongst the top 50 in the country for practice ranges. Thanks to the course’s origins as a fertile sod farm, the grass here is quite spectacular and plush. While playing the course you’ll be surrounded by lakes, ponds and sweeping doglegs, as well as native landscaping and pristine palm trees. The close proximity to the ocean provides a refreshing breeze off the Atlantic. The course includes a variety of long drives and mounded areas where you can practice your uphill and downhill shots.

Rockledge Country Club

This private golf course is home to a number of tournaments. The course was developed in 1918 as one of the first courses in the area. Since then, it has hosted some big names like Warren G. Harding, the 29th President of the United States.

With four sets of tees, you have a lot of options when playing a round of golf here, including playability and length in the 71-par layout.  The course gives you a chance to practice hitting the ball from many different angles for the best practice possible.  The country club and course has a traditional feel and routing, which makes it a very enjoyable course to play and walk.   


The Habitat

If you’re a big fan of nature you’ll love the Habitat Golf Course. The 6,836-yard championship golf course sits on a beautifully preserved natural environment. The course itself was designed by Charles Ankrom and is noted as one of the best-designed courses in all of Brevard County. The course itself is full of challenges, all while keeping your eyes busy looking at the incredible topographic features and demanding mounded fairways.

This public golf course was built in 1991, is open year-round and includes 18 holes. Located on the southern border of Brevard County, the golf course serves as a haven for both golfers and wildlife. Beginner, intermediate and pro golfers enjoy the unique experience afforded by this stunning course.
